Preventative Care

Dr. Linn and Dr. Edwards suggest patients visit their office every six months for a dental cleaning and routine exam. During this time, tartar and plaque is removed from your teeth to help you retain that radiant, healthy smile. X-rays might be used in order to detect potential cavities and other issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye.

Dental Exams

In your very first appointment, Dr. Linn and Dr. Edwards perform a comprehensive dental exam, which includes, checking jaw joints, X-rays for cavities, cancer screening, and checking for oral sores and gum disease. In all, these visits help prevent tooth decay, and periodontal (gum) disease.

A crown or “cap” is necessary when a tooth is badly damaged and cannot be fixed by a traditional filling. Crowns help restore the tooth’s functionality and esthetic. We offer many different crown material options, including non-metal crowns.

Bridges are used to close gaps in your mouth from missing teeth due to decay or injury. When a tooth is missing, the remaining ones can begin to shift and cause pain and discomfort. A bridge acts like your natural teeth and retains your bite.

Root Canals

When decay reaches the pulp of a tooth and infects the nerve, root canal therapy is necessary to save the tooth. Since the pulp cannot heal on its own, doctors will clean out the infected pulp and disinfect the canals to prevent further bacteria build-up. Then a core build-up, bonded post, and crown is applied, if necessary.

Dental Implants

Dental implants use titanium posts, which are surgically placed into the jaw bone, to then attach a replacement tooth. These teeth are custom-made to fit your mouth. This procedure is great for replacing just one or multiple teeth.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures come in two different varieties: Complete and Partial. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing. Meanwhile, partials fill spaces created by missing teeth and help keep your existing teeth from shifting. Patients are given an immediate set of dentures until their gums heal (takes 4-6 weeks). After the gum heals, adjustments are made.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

If you’re uncomfortable with dental procedures, we offer nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) sedation to provide a relaxing experience. This is available to those with mild or moderate anxiety.

Teeth Whitening

Over time, discoloration effects from coffee, tea, smoking, and soda can be seen on your teeth. Teeth whitening offers a way to restore your beautiful and radiant smile. Even after one visit you will see a distinct difference!

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or ceramic applied and bonded to the front of your existing teeth. These are a great choice to correct gaps between teeth, crooked or misaligned teeth, and discoloration. This procedure typically takes two visits, as the first visit will require we take impressions of your teeth, and in the second visit we’ll to apply the veneer.
